  3. Recently I also downloaded something called DefIconsUpd (another package like
  4. this). I originally recieved only the source code from that document. But I
  5. have now downloaded the full thing.

  8. I have recently recieved a rather insulting email from the author of this
  9. other package, (Mr? Magnum) claiming I ripped him off. I have one thing to
  10. say to that - You show me another way to look for an 8SVX or a RIFF or
  11. whatever and I will use it, everyones code will look similar - it does the
  12. same things!!!!!! (Besides which my code is six thousand characters longer
  13. and recognises more file types!!!)

  16. In fact, I took a lot of the ideas from a program by Olaf Barthel called
  17. 'Icon'.
  18. This program had been obsoleted on my system due to (infrequent) crashing as
  19. the program became bigger with more additions.
  20. Mr. Barthel states in his documentation that I need not give any credit to
  21. him. However, respect where it is due... a lot of the methods used in my
  22. brainfile came either from his program (or from things I added to his code
  23. when I used to use the program).

  26. I did modify the names of some of my classes to suit the ones in DefIconsUpd,
  27. not because I ripped them off, just out of respect that Mr? Magnum had named
  28. them and uploaded before I did. (Besides which, they make a lot more sense
  29. than some I had ;)
